Our
Mission Statement
P.A.W.S.
("Providing Animals With Support") is a 501(c)(3) non-profit
charitable organization formed for the primary purpose of decreasing
euthanasia rates at local shelters through spay/neuter programs,
public education, and the location of quality homes for homeless
animals.
Who We
Are
We are an all
breed animal rescue group run by volunteers in St. George, Utah,
whose main purpose is to find quality homes for shelter animals. We
do this with the help of our dedicated volunteers and foster
parents. We heavily concentrate on reducing the number of unwanted
animals.
All of our
adoptable cats are in our new Adoption Center located at 859 East
Tabernacle Street, St. George, Utah, and you can visit them during
our Center's operational hours, which are Monday thru Thursday from
12:00-3:00 p.m., Friday's from
3:30 p.m. until 6:00 p.m., and Saturday's from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00
p.m. At this time, our available dogs are in foster homes,
therefore, an appointment will need to be
sscheduled
to meet our dogs. To begin the adoption
process, we require an adoption application, home visit and an
extensive interview. Our adoption contract states that dogs will
never be chained or kept exclusively outdoors and cats are not to be
declawed. We expect our animals to become part of your family!
Adoption fees are $100 for dogs and $65 for cats, which includes all
current vaccinations and altering prior to the final adoption
process.
Animals currently looking for wonderful homes can be viewed on PAWS page of
petfinder.org or on the
St. George Animal Shelter's page.
